SMRITI SANJAY-GOPAL
Co-President
Smriti is a junior from Florida concentrating in Entrepreneurship & Innovation and Legal Studies. Outside of EM, she is part of Penn Microfinance and Wharton's Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Club. Her hobbies include dancing, riding horses, and learning Portuguese!
ODYSSIA SIFOUNAKI
Co-President
Odyssia is a Greek junior in the College; currently undecided, she is planning on pursuing a minor in Legal Studies and History as part of her interest in CSR and politics. She is part of The WALK’s finance team, and in her free time she enjoys listening to music, reading fiction, and seeing her friends.
SAMI EL SOLH
Chairman
Sami is a Lebanese Cuban-American senior concentrating in Finance and pursuing a sub-matriculation in Data Science. He is interned at McKinsey & Company working in the health tech ecosystem and is joining General Atlantic's fintech team. Outside of EM, he is the President of Wharton Private Equity & Venture Capital. In his free time, Sami loves swimming and following Real Madrid.
NICOLAS YEH
Asia-Pacific Co-Head
Nick is a Taiwanese-American junior from Los Angeles majoring in Urban Studies and minoring in Real Estate and Environmental Management. Next summer, he will be with Starwood Capital Group’s Hotel Acquisitions team. In addition to WEM, Nick is Head of Speakers for WUREC and is a member of WITG Real Estate. Nick loves playing water polo, traveling, techno music, and philanthropy.

Max is a Canadian student studying Finance and Behavioral Economics in the Wharton School. He is currently working with a C2C startup as well as a business development firm based in Montreal. Max enjoys playing music and fashion.

Seif is a sophomore from Cairo, Egypt studying in the Huntsman Program for International Studies and Business. He spent this last summer interning at the Egyptian Ministry of Finance in their Macro-Fiscal Policy Unit. His hobbies include following Middle Eastern politics and spending time on the beach.

Aya is a London raised Lebanese sophomore in the College of Arts & Sciences. She is planning on majoring in Design and minoring in both Computer Science as well as Engineering Entrepreneurship to balance her interest in STEM and fine arts. In her free time, she enjoys, playing/listening to music, making arts, and going on walks with her friends.
LUYANDA CINGO
Sub-Saharan Africa Co-Head
Luyanda is a South African student pursuing a double concentration in finance and business analytics. His interests include Pan-African politics, cinema and soccer. He is a co-founder of the UPenn chapter of Scholars of Finance and member of the Penn Debate Society. He enjoys going out with friends and is an avid Chelsea supporter.

Peter is an Australian-American Junior concentrating in Finance and Accounting while minoring in Chinese. Outside of the club he is the president of Scholars of Finance and CEO of Horses Give Hope Education Foundation. In his free time Peter enjoys cycling, swimming and playing polo.

Guilherme, or Gui for short, is a rising junior from Curitiba, Brazil, majoring in Philosophy, Politics & Economics.. Outside of the club, Gui is President of Wharton Latino and is interning at McKinsey. His hobbies include outdoor running, learning new languages and studying art history.

Head of Events & Eastern Europe Co-Head
Harald is a Swedish student studying Philosophy, Politics & Economics, with a minor in Legal Studies at the Wharton School. His interests include intl. development, acting, and Russian literature. He is currently a Venture Capital intern at The Conscious Fund working with startups in psychedelic medicine.
